Situated next to the Atlantic Ocean in Scalloway, Shetland Islands.....Windward is a warm and comfortable family home in a lovely quiet location with a stunning view . A bus stop is nearby. It is about half a mile to the centre of the village where you can find shops, bars and restaurants. The Scalloway swimming pool is about a mile away. You will find ample car parking space outside the house and there is a lovely garden with seating for you to use at any time.
There are 3 tastefully decorated clean and warm bedrooms available all year round. All bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities.
The house is heated throughout. There is a lounge which is fully equipped with Satellite TV, VCR, DVD, games, books and a selection of videos are also available for residents use.
Breakfast is served between 7.30am and 9.00am daily in our Conservatory which has panoramic views of nearby islands. Early or late breakfast available on request. Traditional cooked breakfast, vegetarian and healthy options available.
Packed lunches are available on request when prior notice is given.
We have a no smoking policy however we are happy to supply an ashtray to enable you to smoke outside and enjoy the garden views.
Because of its location, you get the best of both worlds when staying at Windward. Although it is in the village of Scalloway it is located on the outskirts, looking out over the sea to the south and west...you still have the peace and quiet. ...yet are close enough to get to restaurants, bars, parks which are all within easy walking distance.
